Powell Butte Sunday Cross Ride was a blast!
Conditions were perfect! A little bit of mud, a little gravel, some wet grass, lots of roots, rocks and logs. 50 degrees, light breeze. It was awesome! We rode the Black Tail Deer trail, Evergreen Trail, Orchard Loop several times, Cedar Grove Trail, and a couple of others. Brought home a little mud! I’m so lucky to live 2 miles from the Butte. I think I’m going to build some barriers...

Not particularly challenging but this is the kind of trail I like. Long smooth ascents. Long smooth descents.

Chris King and Alpenrose Velodrome and I...
Started work at Chris King on Tuesday. I love it. I’m working long days, and my commute is about 19 miles each way. I made the mistake of packing every evening this week with track activities, and my racing seriously suffered. No rest for the wicked? No wins, either!
I rode a total of 103 miles this week, not including track laps in class, warm ups and races.
About 3/4 of those miles were...

First Day!
I officially work for Chris King Precision Components!
I love it. I’m too tired to go into detail, and I have to get up in 5 hours to go back to work. But it’s an amazing company to work for, and I’m beyond pumped!
I’ll update you on all the radness this weekend.
